George Holland is a respected educator with more than 25 years experience in developing and producing educational media for K-12 classrooms. He taught Shakespeare and other literature subjects in the Department of English at the University of Arizona in the early 70's and was rated a "very popular professor" on student polls. Prior to joining New Dimension Media, Holland was Vice President in charge of Production for BFA Educational Media, a division of CBS Education, and then Phoenix Learning Group, and Executive Vice President for Educational & Television Production, Barr Media Group. His work has garnered more than 100 awards and honors from such prestigious organizations as CableAce, Carnegie Medal, American Library Association, National Educational Media Festival, and the Gold Apple Award. He received his B.S. from UCLA and his Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
